Lon is the real deal! For many generations his family lived in the mountains of Sevier County. He grew up in the shadow of the Smokies in Blount County, learning and playing the traditional music that came here from the old country.

Lon plays the fiddle, the guitar, and he sings many beloved songs associated with the mountains and hillbilly ways. While old timey music can be raw and primitive, Lon has developed a sweet and mellow sound in both his playing and singing that entertains and relaxes his listeners. The music has depth and vitality and a sound that makes you feel good and always a little nostalgic.

Lon has a proven track record having played weekly for nearly ten years for audiences at the Riverstone Lodge and the Trailhead Steak and Trout House in Townsend, TN. He is a regular at Gatlinburg's Tunes and Tales; as well as the fiddle player for contra dance band Black Mash Hollow and the virtuoso group Blue Shadows. Having made appearances on television, YouTube, radio, and several albums, he humbly offers a deep and varied repertoire of Americana music.
